Ocarina for the iPhone

I never dreamed that one day I would be able to replicate Link’s Ocarina on my iPhone. In fact, I can’t believe that I just typed that. Mostly because it sounds so damn nerdy. Here’s a snippet from Smule’s website about their new application:

Ocarina is the first true musical instrument created for the iPhone. Ocarina is sensitive to your breath, touch and movements, making it even more versatile than the original. Unlike other musical applications, there are no pre-compiled riffs so musicians will find unlimited opportunities for self-expression.

Has anyone tried this out yet? I’m sure the purchase is justified either way, just curious to know if it’s easy to get started with or not. If you have experience with this app, please let us know in the comments!
