SXSW podcasts now available
SXSW always ends up providing some of the best, forward-thinking information about the web and new technologies. I have yet to attend the festivities, but I have come across the next best thing. The 2006 SXSW podcasts are now available for public consumption.
This event, and these podcasts, bring some of the web’s finest together and put them on a panel to discuss everything from small business start up to bluffing your way through DOM Scripting. The focus of these podcasts vary from design to development to usability and back — there’s bound to be something for everyone involved in the web community on this page.
I’ve compiled a list of the podcasts that should defintely make their way into your iPod:
- Opening remarks
Jim Coudal (Coudal Partners) and Jason Fried (37signals) - Designing the next generation of web apps
George Oates (Ludicorp), Mena Trott (Six Apart), Evan Williams (Odeo), Jeffrey Veen (Measure Map), Eric Rodenbeck (Stamen Design) - Choosing the right design partner
Dave Evans (VP of Social Media, Digital Voodoo Inc.), Christian Barnard (Exec Dir, AT&T Online Services) - How to be a web design super hero
Andy Budd (Clearleft Ltd), Andy Clarke (Stuff and Nonsense)
And if that isn’t enough information to keep you busy for a while, check out my previous post about web design podcasts.
