Really a very nice, clean-looking design, but I have to ask this question:
Why no unobtrusive JavaScript?

If you disable JavaScript (or use the FF "NoScript" extension to block scripting) the links for Search The Archives, Categories, and Recent Comments do not function.

Also this page seems to be missing the HTML body tags (<a href="http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&ampuri=http://www.45royale.com/notebook/2006/11/turns-out-the-new-design-is-a-hit-we-get-love-from-around-the-web/#comments" rel="nofollow">http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http://www.45royale.com/notebook/2006/11/turns-out-the-new-design-is-a-hit-we-get-love-from-around-the-web/#comments</a>)

Don't want to pop your bubble, because it really is a nice design (I like clean and uncluttered!), but I just thought that I would pose my question and let you know about the missing body tags.

Just my 2px anyway... ;)
