Turns out the new design is a hit!
It hasn’t even been a week since we redesigned our site and we’ve already gotten far more attention from folks around and the web than we anticipated. We’d like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who has visited our site and left comments on the design; it’s much appreciated! We would also like to show our gratitude to the people that submitted our site to some of the more popular CSS galleries, including:
Also, special thanks to kindeda.com and Andy Budd for the traffic. This little site has been rockin’ these past few days and we’re loving it!
If you have any other comments, please don’t hesitate to leave one here on one of the other posts.

Gratz on the attention ;) It’s always good to see your site getting in the spotlights, hehe.
Really a very nice, clean-looking design, but I have to ask this question:
Why no unobtrusive JavaScript?
If you disable JavaScript (or use the FF “NoScript” extension to block scripting) the links for Search The Archives, Categories, and Recent Comments do not function.
Also this page seems to be missing the HTML body tags (http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http://www.45royale.com/notebook/2006/11/turns-out-the-new-design-is-a-hit-we-get-love-from-around-the-web/#comments)
Don’t want to pop your bubble, because it really is a nice design (I like clean and uncluttered!), but I just thought that I would pose my question and let you know about the missing body tags.
Just my 2px anyway… ;)
