This is such a great summer song, I dare you to listen to this song and not tap your toes. Fourth of July is a band from Lawrence, Kansas made up of 6 members (3 of which are brothers) and are signed to Range Life Records. Their whole album, Fourth of July on the Plains, is solid from front to back. Below is an excerpt from a recent review at Aversion.com:

As Fouth of July weaves tales of Midwestern heartbreak, Hangauer keeps it simple, dropping basic folk melodies, plucked from a nylon-stringed guitar as backdrop for his vocals. Occasionally dressing things up with additional instrumentation, Fourth of July is simple and straightforward on all levels — a refreshing change in this world of indie-snobbery where the complicated, convoluted and condescending are usually worshipped.
