As the owner of another business who moved from the house to a dedicated office space (December 2008), I can tell you that the long & short-term costs and complexities are worth the effort. It’s really great to have meetings, discovery & planning sessions and community gatherings in your own location. Best part is, you get to lock the door and walk away at night; this is especially important if you have a wife and/or kids kids at home.

@Damien Huze Thanks for the props, we really appreciate it! @amarantcreative Thanks for the comment, we're glad you like the new office. As for this site, we switched back to WordPress from Expression Engine with this new build. We missed the ease of publishing with WordPress and are really happy with our new setup. We're still big fans of Expression Engine though and can't wait to see the 2.0 update come out (we've been waiting for quite a while now).

Nice office. I have the same setup (galant desk, mbp, 24″) It looks like you have the mbp underneath the desk, how did you set that up.

I always thought, that best device for this kind of work is Mac Pro.
