The Fawcett Ranch House
Architecture is something that has always intrigued me and I think in many respects, has helped me along the path to design appreciation. I recently came across a home for sale in San Joaquin Valley, California by one of my all-time favorite mid-century modern architects, Frank Lloyd Wright.
The home, nestled upon 80 acres of fertile California farmland, is up for sale at a cool $2.7 million. Although after looking at these updated pictures, it’s hard to argue with the listing agent on the price. The house is a marvel and the story behind the family it was built for is just as fascinating. You can see some of the updated pictures below as well as read about the history of the house and occupants on the home’s site.
