Seattle
On Thursday I made the three hour drive up to Seattle for work. Being as I am a recent transplant to the pacific northwest, I figured I should at least document this occasion while I was there. After the work was done, I ate lunch at the top of the Space Needle in the SkyCity restaurant. The ride up was great, you got a wonderful birds-eye view of the park and other landmarks that are still around from the 1962 World’s Fair.
While I was eating lunch a couple seaplanes flew by, they seemed very close and I tried to snap some pictures of them soaring near the top of the Space Needle. Only one of the shots came out, but it was definitely a surreal sight. The restaurant also rotated, so I had a 360 degree look at the city and surrounding areas. Seattle is beautiful and I plan on going back soon when I’m not rushed by work, hopefully to catch a Seahawks game in the fall.
