While checking out some photos on Flickr, I stumbled across this great collection of vintage logos from a mid-70′s edition of the book World of Logotypes. It’s definitely a very thorough collection with lots of great logo eye candy.

When I arrived home last night this little puppy was waiting on my doorstep. This awesome GOW statue is sculpted by our good buddy Pete Jirles over at Mindzeye Studios. The detail is amazing and I can’t wait to display it in my office!

My family is from Pittsburgh so this shirt drew my eye. In the 70′s, Pittsburgh became known as “The City of Champions” after the Pirates and Steelers starting winning up every championship known to man. And since another Big Game is fast approaching, this shirt is a must!

Really great work in Sanna Annukka’s portfolio. The patterns are particularly interesting.

Barack Obama made history on November 4th, 2008 by becoming the first black president ever elected in the United States. I still find it very hard to believe, but I’m beaming with pride for our nation.
